Our prediction for this Europa League match:
David faces Goliath at Stadion FK Krasnodar. Krasnodar aim to cement their spot in top position in Group J, whilst Akhisarspor want to give fans some cheer following four consecutive defeats. Akhisarspor were on the verge of holding Sevilla to a draw in their last group game, but the Spanish side eventually scored a late winner and picked up all three points from the match. The Turks extended their losing run in Group J and it is no surprise they are considered big underdogs in Thursday’s football game against Krasnodar. The Russian side did well to beat star-studded Sevilla at home earlier in the process and they are definitely capable of defeating the rock-bottom team at their Stadion FK Krasnodar. When the two teams met in Turkey in September Krasnodar recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Akhisarspor, with Claesson scoring the winner.
Highlighted Player (Christian Cueva):

Christian Cueva is a Peru international who was born in Trujillo (Peru) on November 23, 1991. Cueva is a produce of Universidad San Martin football school and he continued playing for the club at senior level. After scoring 19 goals in 120 appearances for the club (league matches) the 169-cm tall attacking midfielder moved to Universidad Cesar Vallejo in 2012.
Due to the lack of first-team football, Christian Cueva quickly left the club, signing a deal with Union Espanola. The Peru international played for the likes of Rayo Vallecano (loan), Allianza Lima, Toluca and Sao Paulo as well before joining Russian side Krasnodar in 2018. Christian Cueva has established himself as one of the key players of the Peruvian national team and it is well known that he represented los Incas at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals.
Nonetheless, despite beating Australia in their last group game, Peru eventually failed to book their place in the last 16 of the showpiece tournament in Russia.
Highlighted Team (Akhisarspor):

Akhisar were founded in 1970 by the merged of three Turkish clubs: Gunesspor, Genclikspor and Doganspor. Yilmaz Atabarut founded the club and he was the club’s first president. Despite being founded back in 1970, Akhisar failed to secure promotion to the Turkish top flight before 2012.
The Akigo have been playing an important role in the Super Lig ever since, but the club’s biggest success is winning of the Turkish Cup in the 2017/2018 season. Akhisar defeated Fenerbahce in the title game, with the likes of Lopes, Sissoko and Barbosa scoring for the Akigo.
Fernando and Souza found the net for the capital club. As a result, Akhisar booked their place in the Europa League group stages where they will face the likes of Sevilla, Standard and Krasnodar. Akhisar welcome their rivals at Sport Toto Akhisar Stadium, the venue which can hold 12,139 supporters. The stadium was opened in January, 2018.
