Our prediction for this Europa League match:
All eyes will be on Ludogorets Arena when Ludogorets and Bayer Leverkusen face each other in the Group A derby. The Bulgarian side are dominant force in the national championship, but they aim to record a good result in European competitions as well. Ludogorets failed to impress in the Champions League qualifiers, but thanks to a win over Torpedo Kutaisi in the double-header they booked their place in the Europa League group stages. Bayer Leverkusen, on the other hand, finished the 2017/2018 Bundesliga campaign in fifth position in the standings and, as a result, they will represent Germany in the Europa League. The German side made a slow start to the season and seeing that Ludogorets are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we predict that the Bulgarians are going to pick up all three points from Thursday’s football game.
