Our football match prediction:
As expected, Villarreal defeated Astana at their Estadio de la Ceramica in their first group game of the 2017/2018 Europa League season, but their performances in the triumph over the Kazakhs was anything but brilliant. The Yellow Submarine need to improve their game if they are to finish the process in top position in Group A and, no doubt, they face a difficult task in Thursday’s football match against Maccabi Tel Aviv. The La Liga side are likely to adopt a cautious approach against the Israeli outfit and we believe that the visitors will have a number of opportunities to attack their rivals on the break. Maccabi suffered a 1-0 loss to Slavia Prague in their opener, meaning that they should be happy with one point from Thursday’s clash against Villarreal. Cedric Bakambu came as a substitute and scored in the 3-1 win over Astana and there is every chance the pacey attacker will be recalled to the starting line-up for the away team.
