Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Wolfsberger will be looking to impress on their debut in the Europa League group stages when they face Borussia M’gladbach at Stadion in BORUSSIA-PARK on Thursday evening. The Austrians are eager to spoil Borussia’s party in M’gladbach, but the underdogs will have to be at their sharpest in their opener if they are to avoid defeat in the Stadion in BORUSSIA-PARK clash.
Die Fohlen saw key player Thorgan Hazard leave the club in the summer transfer window, but coach Marco Rose still has a number of high-profile players to choose from. Switzerland international Breel-Donald Embolo will be the man to watch in the home team, but Alassane Plea, who scored 12 goals in the Bundesliga last term, is capable of posing a big threat for the opposition defenders as well. Given Wolfsberger’s lack of experienced in European competitions, home win should be considered.
Highlighted Player (Breel Embolo):

Born in Younde, Cameroon on February 14, 1997, Breel Embolo is a striker who plays for Bundesliga side Schalke 04. Embolo began his youth career at Nordstern back in 2008, but two years later he moved to Old Boys.
In 2010 the Switzerland international joined Basel and he continued playing for the RotBlau at senior level. After scoring 21 goals in 61 appearances for the club in the Swiss Super League, Breel Embolo signed a five-year deal with Schalke 04 in June, 2016 for a fee of €20 million.
The Schalke striker made his Bundesliga debut on August 27 in a 1-0 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt. Speaking of his international career, Breel Embolo has four caps for Switzerland U21 team and he made his senior debut on March 31, 2015 in a 1-1 draw with United States of America. Embolo is very powerful striker, he is technically strong, he has explosive pace and a composed finisher.
Highlighted Team (Wolfsberger):

Welcoming their rivals at Lavanttal-Arena, Wolfsberger are an Austrian side that compete in the Bundesliga, the Austrian top flight. GAM FC footballers wear black and blue shirts and black shorts when playing on home soil, whilst white is the dominant colour of their away kit.
Wolfsberger finished the 2018/2019 Austrian Bundesliga in fourth position in the standings and, as a result, they booked their place in the Europa League group stages for the first time ever. The Lavanttal-Arena outfit were placed in Group J, alongside Borussia M’gladbach, Roma and Istanbul Basaksehir.
GAM FC did well to win the Austrian First League in the 2011/2012 season, with the team finishing the process six points clear of second-placed Altach, but they have yet to win the Austrian Bundesliga trophy. It has to be noted that SV Ried and AT SV Wolfsberg are considered the club’s fiercest rivals.
