Our football match prediction:
Stadion Gradski vrt will host Thursday’s football match between Osijek and Austria Wien. Osijek have been playing above expectations in all competitions this season and it has to be noted that they outplayed star-studded Eredivisie side PSV in the Europa League third qualifying round. Coach Zoran Zekic is doing a great job with the club, who defeated HNL champions Rijeka earlier this month and his men are definitely capable of beating Austria Wien in front of home fans. The Violets, on the other hand, set up a meeting with Osijek by beating AEL Limassol in the double-header, but we do not believe that they are capable of upsetting the Croatian side at Stadion Gradski vrt. Zoran Zekic’s team seem to be well balanced and given their recent form, we predict that the hosts are going to emerge triumphant in the first leg. Macedonian attacker Muzafer Ejupi is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts against Austria Wien.
