Our football match prediction:
Despite being regarded as hot favourites to emerge triumphant in the first leg, Olympiakos played out a goalless draw with Osmanlispor in Piraeus. The Thrylos failed to turn their dominance into goals, but they are still capable of making it to the last 16 of the Europa League. However, Osmanlispor head into Thursday’s football match following a thrilling 5-1 win at Adanaspor and that is certainly giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Olympiakos. The Turkish side are tough to beat at home and it has to be noted that they managed to keep five clean sheets in previous six home games in the Europa League. Considering that Olympiakos have been impressive at the back of late as well, we predict that the two teams will play out a goalless draw in the return leg as well. Taking everything into account, the winner should be decided in the extra time or after penalties.
