Our football match prediction:
Thursday’s football match at Stadio Apostolos Nikolaidis sees Panathinaikos face Celta Vigo in their final group game. Os Celeste dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Standard Liege and, as a result, they face a must-win game against Panathinaikos. PAO’s performances in the Europa League this season leave a lot to be desired and given that the La Liga side are desperate to book their place in the last 32, we predict that the visitors will emerge triumphant in Thursday’s Europa League game. Eduardo Berizzo’s troops are level on points with Standard Liege who sit in second place in Group G and, no doubt, the Spaniards will fight tooth and nail in the Stadio Apostolos Nikolaidis clash. Former Liverpool man Iago Aspas scored a brace in a 3-3 draw with Real Betis at the weekend, meaning that the opposition back-line should have the experienced attacker at bay.
