Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Thursday’s football game at Allianz Stadion pits together Rapid Wien and Villarreal, the two teams who are still in the race for a place in the Europa League knockout stages. Following back-to-back draws against the likes of Rangers and Spartak Moscow, Villarreal crushed Rapid Wien 5-0 in their last group games and, no doubt, the Spaniards are brimming with confidence ahead of the trip to Austria. Rapid Wien, on the other hand, are desperate to get their revenge on the Yellow Submarine for such a heavy defeat and we predict that they are going to leave their hearts on the field in Thursday’s clash. Rapid produce much better displays at home than on the travels, but seeing that Villarreal have found their best form of late, we believe that the visitors are going to emerge triumphant in the Allianz Stadion showdown.
