Our football match prediction:
Sassuolo did remarkably well to roll over Athletic Bilbao in their first group game, but Thursday’s football match against Genk will be anything but a walk in the park for the Neroverdi. It is well known that Sassuolo produce much better performances in front of home fans and we do not believe that away win should be considered this time out. Genk suffered a 3-2 loss to Rapid Wien in their Europa League opener and, no doubt, the Belgians will leave their hearts on the field in Thursday’s clash against Sassuolo. Peter Maes’ team are on a three-match winning run at home in the Europa League and they are widely expected to emerge triumphant in the game against Sassuolo. The hosts want this win more than the Italian outfit and we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed. The two teams meet for the first time ever in European competitions.
