Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Salzburg will be looking to overcome a three-goal deficit in the tie against Napoli when they host the Serie A side at their Red Bull Arena. The Red Bulls failed to impress in the 3-0 loss to Napoli at Stadio San Paolo and, as a result, they are on the verge of suffering elimination in the Europa League last 16. The Austrian champions, though, have no other choice but to go all guns blazing at the Partenopei and we predict that they are going to leave their hearts on the field in Thursday’s football match. Seeing that Salzburg are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we believe that they are going to emerge triumphant in the return leg, but recording a huge win over Carlo Ancelotti’s troops is easier said than done. Napoli produce much better displays at home than on the travels, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Red Bulls.
Highlighted Player (Zlatko Junuzovic):
Born in Serbia on 26 September 1987, Zlatko Junuzovic moved to Austria at the age of five and he eventually decided to represent his adopted country at international level. The central midfielder made a name for himself playing for Grazer AK, Austria Karnten and Austria Wien, but it was a move to Werder Bremen that earned him worldwide recognition.
Ever since 2012, Junuzovic has been one of Bundesliga’s leading midfielders, scoring a number of goals from set pieces and producing countless assists for his teammates, and it is a real wonder how he hasn’t joined a bigger club.
Capable of operating as a defensive midfielder, but much more dangerous as an attacking midfielder, Junuzovic has been a key player for Austria for several years now and he was in fine form as Das Team secured their place at the Euro 2016 finals. The highly rated midfielder has been a member of the national team for over ten years and chances are he will not be retiring any time soon.
Highlighted Team (Napoli):
SSC Napoli is an Italian football club from the city of Naples which is playing currently in the Serie A. The club was founded officially in 1926 but the history from Napoli reaches back to 1904 with the club Naples Foot-Ball & Cricket Club that fused with Internazionale Napoli and was called FBC Internaples.
After 4 seasons the club changed its name to SSC Napoli (Societa Sportiva Calcio).
In the end of the eighties Napoli had the biggest success in the club history with the Argentinian legend Diego Maradona. Diego Maradona was able to win the league title twice, the national cup and the UEFA cup. The moment Maradona left the club Napoli got into big financial trouble.
In 2004 the local club was bankrupt. Despite the help of financial investors the club got regulated to the Serie C. After 6 years of playing in lower divisions Napoli managed to get back in the Serie A in season 2007/2008. Famous players that played for the club from Naples are: Maradona, Zola, Cavani, Blanc, Di Canio, Cannavaro.
