Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Schaunisland-Reisen-Arena (neutral location) will host Thursday’s Europa League game between Sevilla and Roma. Los Sevillanos were not allowed to host the Giallorossi at “Pizjuan” due to the fierce of coronavirus spread, but they are still seen as favourites to win the first leg. A man to watch in the home team will be pacey winger Lucas Ocampos, who is likely to pose a big threat for the opposition defenders. Sevilla midfielder Nemanja Gudelj, who was tested positive for the coronavirus, is rated doubtful for the match.
The Romans, on the other hand, aim to save the season by going all the way in the Europa League playoffs. Roma have been in a fine form in the Serie A in the season finale, but beating Julen Lopetegui’s troops is easier said than done. Seeing that the game will be played on neutral location, share of spoils is on the cards. Gianluca Mancini returns to contention for Roma following a domestic ban, while Jordan Veretout is suspended.
