Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Marijampolės sporto centro stadione will host Thursday’s football game between Suduva and Ferencvaros. Vladimir Cheburin’s troops have been playing above expectations in European competitions this term and they will be looking to build on back-to-back wins over Maccabi Tel Aviv when they take on Ferencvaros in the first leg of the Europa League play-offs.
The Lithuanian champions have been scoring goals for fun of late and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play against the Hungarian outfit. The Green Eagles experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb, but given their attacking potential, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. A man to watch in the away team will be Italian attacker Davide Lanzafame, whilst Ferencvaros defenders should have Sergiy Rebrov at bay. Suduva and Ferencvaros meet for the first time ever in European competitions.
