Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Thanks to a routine 4-0 win over OFK Titograd CSKA Sofia moved one step closer to booking their place in the Europa League second qualifying round. The Bulgarians aim to defend their big lead in the return leg and they are seen as hot favourites to win Thursday’s football match. CSKA Sofia were producing fine displays in pre-season and seeing that OFK Titograd experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the first leg, we believe that away win should be considered.
A man to watch in the away team will be Brazil midfielder Evandro, who found the net in the 4-0 win over the Montenegrin side. David faces Goliath at Stadion Pod Goricom and seeing that the hosts head into the match with the lack of motivation, we are tempted to put our money on the Bulgarian side.
Highlighted Player (Diego Fabbrini):
Diego Fabbrini made his Empoli debut in August, 2009. After spending two years at Stadio Carlo Castellani, the midfielder returned to Udinese for the 2011/2012 Serie A campaign and amassed a total of 21 league appearances for the Zebrette. On 19 July 2013, Fabbrini signed a permanent deal with Watford, but he was quickly sent on loan to Siena.
After ending his loan spells with Millwall, Birmingham City and Middlesbrough, he joined Birmingham City on 27 January, 2016 for a fee of £1.5 million. The Italian midfielder made his Birmingham City debut three days later as he came on as a substitute in a goalless draw with Bristol City. Fabbrini made 14 appearances for the Blues in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign, but he failed to find the net for the St Andrew’s outfit.
Speaking of his international career, Diego made his debut for Italy U21 on 3 September 2010 in a match against Bosnia. He earned his first cap for the Italy national team on 15 August 2012, in a 2-1 defeat to England.
