Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Vaduz will be looking to make a flying start to their Europa League qualifying campaign when they take on Hibernians at Rheinpark Stadion on Thursday evening. Vaduz did well to secure promotion to the Swiss Super League, and, no doubt, the team’s main goal for the upcoming season is to avoid relegation to the Challenge League. As a Lichtenstein club, Vaduz take part in the Europa League qualifiers, and they are seen as hot favourites to beat the Maltese outfit in their opener.
Hibernians have not been in action since July 7, 2020, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on Mario Frick’s troops. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Austria international Tunahan Cicek, who scored 12 goals in the Swiss second tier last season.
