Our match prediction:
Against all odds, Olympiakos suffered a shocking loss to Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the Champions League qualifiers, but the Thrylos did well to eliminate Arouca of Portugal in the Europa League play-offs. As a result, the Greek outfit are going to participate in the Europa League group stages and it has to be noted that they have been grouped alongside Young Boys, APOEL and Astana. Olympiakos are regarded as favourites to make it to the knockout stages of the competition, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. The Thrylos face Young Boys in Bern in their opener and seeing that the Swiss side are tough to beat at home, we are not tempted to put our money on the Greeks in Thursday’s football match. We predict that the two teams are going to share the spoils in the Stade de Suisse clash.
