Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Young Boys play host to Rangers at their Stade de Suisse in their second group game in the 2019/2020 Europa League season. The Swiss outfit produce much better performances on home, artificial soil, than on the travels and we are positive that they are going to grab something from Thursday’s football match. A man to watch in the home team will be Cameroon attacker Jean Pierre Nsame, who has netted 8 goals in the Swiss top flight so far this season.
Rangers, on the other hand, recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Feyenoord in their opener. Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is doing a good job with the Scottish outfit and despite the fact that over the years Young Boys have turned their Stade de Suisse into a real fortress, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw.
Highlighted Player (Frederik Sorensen):
Frederik Sorensen is a Danish footballer who plays for Bundesliga side Koln as a defender. He plays as a centre back, but he is capable of playing as a right back as well. Sorensen was born in Copenhagen on 14 April, 1992 and he played for the likes of Roskilde KFUM, Himmelev-Veddelev, FC Roskilde and Lyngby during his youth career.
The 194-cm-tall defender was spotted by Juventus scouts in 2010 and on 27 August he officially signed a contract with the “Old Lady”. Nonetheless, Sorensen made no more than 17 league appearances for Juve between 2010 and 2012. On 17 January, 2012 he joined Bologna for a fee of € 2.5 million and he made 42 league appearances for the Rossoblu, scoring two goals for the club.
After ending his loan spell with Verona in 2015, he signed a deal with Koln for €1.6 million and he has been playing for the Bundesliga outfit ever since. Frederik Sorensen has 15 caps for Denmark U21 team and he played for the U20 and the U17 team as well.
Highlighted Team (Rangers):
Glasgow Rangers are one of the two synonyms for Scottish Football. Glasgow Rangers were founded back in 1872 and they have been playing an important role in the Scottish top flight ever since. The Gers won their 54th Scottish Premier League title in the 2010/2011 season, but winning of European Cup Winners’ Cup trophy in 1972 is considered the club’s biggest success.
Glasgow Rangers defeated Dynamo Moscow in the final of the competition, with the likes of Stein and Johnston (two goals) scoring for the Scottish side. Celtic are considered the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks when the two teams meet in the Old Firm derby. The likes of Paul Gascoigne, David Weir, Stefan Klos, Chris Boyd, Ian Durrant and Kenny Miller are some of Rangers’ former notable players.
It has to be noted that the Gers welcome their rivals at Ibrox Stadium, the venue with the capacity of 50,817. Rangers’ support is largely drawn from the Protestant Unionist community.
