Our football match prediction:
Crystal Palace are on a four-match losing run in the league ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup match against Manchester City. Experienced tactician Sam Allardyce has been struggling on his new job and, no doubt, the “Big Sam” feels pressure ahead of the visit of Pep Guardiola’s charges. The Eagles outplayed Bolton Wanderers in the third round of the competition, but the Citizens are likely to pose a much bigger threat for the hosts than their previous rivals. Crystal Palace are low on confidence ahead of Saturday’s football match and they are unlikely to upset the Etihad Stadium outfit in the FA Cup round 4. Kevin de Bruyne impressed in a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend and he will be the man to watch in the away team. Manchester City are unlikely to win the Premier League trophy and we predict that the visitors will take the Crystal Palace game very seriously.
Highlighted Player (Andros Townsend):
Andros Townsend is an English footballer who plays for Crystal Palace. He started his professional career at Tottenham Hotspur (2009), but he played for a number of English clubs on loan in the past (Yeovil Town, Leyton Orient, MK Dons, Ipswich Town, Watford, Millwall, Leeds United, Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers). On 26 January, 2016, Townsend signed a deal with Newcastle United for a fee of £12 million. However, following Newcastle’s relegation to the Championship at the end of the 2015/2016 campaign, Andros joined Crystal Palace on a five-year contract as the Eagles decided to match his £13 million release clause. Andros Townsend plays as a winger and he made his England debut on 11 October, 2013. Back then England recorded a 4-1 win over Montenegro in the World Cup qualifiers. The Crystal Palace footballer was born in Leytonstone on 16 July, 1991 and he attended Rush Croft Sports College. Andros Townsend is a Tottenham Hotspur fan, but he couldn’t quite realise his potential while at White Hart Lane
Highlighted Team (Manchester City):
Manchester City are the lest famous of the two major clubs based in Manchester. The club was founded in 1880, but they have been struggling in the English Premier League in the past. Nonetheless, ever since the club was purchased by Abu Dhabi United Group in 2008, the Citizens have been playing an important role in the English top flight. Manchester City won two Premier League trophies under Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini (2011/2012 and 2013/2014), butboth managers eventually paid the price for some disappointing results. Man City play their home games at the Etihad Stadium and the stadium capacity is 55,097. Manchester United are regarded as Manchester City’s biggest rivals and the likes of Kun Aguero, Carlos Tevez, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Uwe Rosler, Yaya Toure, Sylvain Distin are some of the most remarkable players that played for the Etihad Stadium outfit. Manchester City have won four Premier League titles and five FA Cup trophies and it has to be noted that they made it to the Champions League semis in the 2015/2016 season.
