Our football match prediction:
Liverpool have been scoring goals for fun ever since Jurgen Kloppt took over the reins, but it seems as if the Reds are not capable of winning the Premier League trophy. The Anfield outfit experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 2-2 draw with Sunderland on Monday and the team need to improve defensively if they are to clinch the domestic trophy. Jurgen Klopp is likely to experiment against Plymouth in Sunday’s FA Cup game, but regardless of which players will be deployed in the starting line-up, home win should be considered. The visitors are on the right track to return to the League One and they are fully focused on the league this season. The two teams meet for the first time ever in the FA Cup and we predict that the Premier League side will emerge triumphant in Sunday’s football game at Anfield.
Highligted Player (Mignolet):
Simon Luc Hildebert Mignolet is a Belgium goalkeeper born on 6 March 1988 in Sint-Truiden. He began his career in a club from his hometown, making 100 league appearances for Sint-Truidense before moving to Sunderland in 2010. Mignolet would go on to spent next four years at the Stadium of Light, making 90 Premier League appearances. As one of world’s most talented goalkeepers, the Belgium international signed for Liverpool in the summer of 2013, and he has since been the club’s first choice goalkeeper. Performing admirably most of the time, but also committing cheap mistakes at times, Mignolet has yet to win over the Liverpool fans, but remains highly regarded in his native country. The talented shot-stopper has been a member of the Belgium national team since 2011, earning over 20 caps for the Red Devils, but he has been playing second fiddle to Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois over the last few years.
Highlighted Team (Liverpool):
Founded back in 1982, Liverpool are one of England’s and world’s most famous clubs. The Reds hold a high-profile rivalry with Everton and there have always been fireworks when the two teams take on each other in the Merseyside derby. The Reds welcome their opponents at Anfield and it has to be noted that they have already won 18 first division trophies. Liverpool were on the verge of lifting the 2014/2015 Premier League trophy, but Steven Gerrard slipped in the decider against Chelsea and left the Reds without a title. Liverpool won their last Champions League trophy in 2005, with the team coming from three goals behind to beat Milan in a historic clash in Istanbul. The Reds have clinched five European Cups and it is no surprise they are regarded as one of the greatest European clubs. The likes of Steven Gerrard, Robbie Fowler, Paul Ince, Ian Rush, Graeme Souness, Sami Hyypia and Luis Suarez are some of the most notable footballers to have represented the club over the years. The club’s anthem is You’ll Never Walk Alone and their shirt colour is red.
