Our prediction for this FA Cup match:
A place in the FA Cup round 4 will be at stake when Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers face each other at St. James’ Park on Saturday evening. The Magpies are not having a season to remember, but they are definitely capable of beating the Riversiders in front of home fans. Rafa Benitez’s troops defeated the likes of Birmingham City and Luton Town in previous two home games in the FA Cup, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of Saturday’s football game. Blackburn Rovers do not seem to be on top of their game at the moment, they have been struggling in the Championship in the first half of the season, therefore, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Newcastle’s party at St. James’ Park. When the two teams met in the Championship two seasons ago the Riversiders defeated the Magpies in Newcastle.
