Our football match prediction:
As expected, Real Madrid defeated Club America in the FIFA Club World Cup semis. Los Blancos were in control of the match and they totally deserved to beat the Mexican outfit (2-0). Zinedine Zidane’s troops aim to put icing on the cake on the very successful season and we predict that the Champions League winners will leave their hearts on the field in Sunday’s football match. Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the 2-0 win over Club America and all eyes will be on the Golden Ball award winner when Real Madrid and Kashima face each other in the FIFA Club World Cup finals. The Antlers rolled over Atletico Nacional in the semis (3-0), but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in Sunday’s game at International Stadium Yokohama. Gareth Bale and Sergio Ramos remain in the recovery room, but Zinedine Zidane has a number of top-class players to choose from and we believe that the Spaniards will win the trophy.
Highlighted Player (Ronaldo):
Cristiano Ronaldo is considered one of the world’s best football players. The Portuguese ace was born on 5 February, 1985 in Funchal, Madeira and he played for the likes of Andorinha, Nacional and Sporting during his youth career. CR7 made his Sporting debut in Primeira Liga on 7 October, 2002, scoring two goals in a 3-0 win over Moreirense. Manchester United scouts spotted him and one year later he joined the Old Trafford outfit. Ronaldo became the most expensive teenager in the history of the Premier League and he received the number 7 shirt. He quickly established himself as the team’s key player and it has to be noted that he won three consecutive Premier League trophies with the Red Devils (2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009). In 2008 he helped the Old Trafford outfit beat Chelsea in the Champions League final, scoring for Alex Ferguson’s troops in the regular time. Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009 and he helped the Spanish giants with two Champions League trophies. In 2016 he won the European Championship trophy with Portugal. The Real Madrid ace has two Golden Ball awards (2013, 2014).
Highlighted Team (Real Madrid):
Real Madrid are a Spanish football club based in Madrid. Real Madrid participate in La Liga (Primera Division) and they have won 32 domestic titles. On the other hand, los Blancos have won 11 European Cup titles and that is the main reason why they are considered the biggest football club in the world. Real Madrid play their home matches at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and the capacity of the stadium is 84,454. Cristiano Ronaldo is the club’s most successful footballer in the 21st century and the Portuguese superstar has won two Golden Ball awards. The likes of Alfredo Di Stefano, Zinedine Zidane, Raul Gonzalez Blanco, David Beckham and Iker Casillas are star players who were part of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu outfit in the past. Real Madrid’s bitterest rivals are Barcelona, but the rivalry between local rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid is big as well. Real Madrid’s home kit is white and, as a result, the team’s nickname is los Blancos (the Whites).
