Our match prediction:
Following back-to-back wins over the likes of Frosinone and Sampdoria, Palermo will be looking to escape the relegation zone with a victory over Fiorentina at Stadio Artemio Franchi. The Viola sit in 5th place in the standings and they need one point from Sunday’s football game against Palermo in order to secure their place in the Europa League. Paulo Sousa’s troops do not seem to be at the top of their game at the moment and considering that they recorded only one win in previous 11 games in all competitions, we are not tempted to put my money on the hosts this time out. The Rosanero are desperate to secure the elite division survival and we predict that the relegation strugglers will grab something from the Stadio Artemio Franchi clash. Palermo recorded only one win in previous nine away games in the national championship, but they are definitely capable of spoiling Viola’s party in Florence.
