Our football match prediction:
There will be fireworks when Real Madrid and Barcelona face each other at Hard Rock Stadium at the International Champions Cup. USA football fans will have a unique chance to watch “El Clasico” and, as always, both Real Madrid and Barcelona players will leave their hearts on the field. Los Blancos proved their worth in the 4-1 win over Juventus in the Champions League final last season and they did well to win their first La Liga trophy since 2012. Zinedine Zidane is doing a great job with Real Madrid and seeing that “the Neymar transfer saga” has influence on Barca players, we predict that the Champions League title holders will emerge triumphant in Sunday’s football match. When the two teams met in La Liga earlier in 2017 Barcelona defeated Real Madrid at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and, no doubt, los Blancos are hungry for revenge.
Highlighted Player (Andre Gomes):
Andre Filipe Tavares Gomes is a Portuguese footballer who represented the likes of Porto, Boavista and Benfica during his youth career, but eventually signed a professional deal with the Eagles. Even if he hadn’t made too many first team appearances for the Portuguese giants, the midfielder saw his economic rights sold to a private company in January 2014, and the deal eventually saw him join Spanish giants Valencia. The attacking midfielder immediately nailed down a regular starting berth at Mestalla, proving his undoubted potential, and catching the eye of top Italian sides such as Juventus and Napoli. Gomes has yet to establish himself as an important player for the Portugal national team, but he has made several appearances under Fernando Santos and is expected to play a key role for the Selecao in the future. Possessing impressive technical skills and capable of covering a number of positions in midfield, Gomes is a modern midfielder who has been showing incredible maturity for his age, so no wonder he is predicted a bright future in the game.
Highlighted Team (Barcelona):
Barcelona are a Spanish football club based in Barcelona, Catalonia. Barca were founded in 1899 and they are regarded as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Catalan giants won their 24th La Liga title in 2016, with Luis Suarez winning “El Pichichi” award. Barcelona have won five European Cup trophies and a number of top-class players were part of the team in the past. The likes of Hristo Stoichkov, Romario, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Johan Cruyff, Diego Maradona and Pep Guardiola are some of many players that played for Barca in the past, but, no doubt, Leo Messi has established himself as the club’s trademark. Barcelona welcome their rivals at Camp Nou, the stadium that was built in 1957. Barcelona’s local rivals are Espanyol, but the rivalry between Barca and Real Madrid is much bigger. The two La Liga giants face each other in “El Clasico”, which is considered one of the most exciting derbies in the world football. Barca are famous for their football youth school La Masia as well.
