Our football match prediction:
All eyes will be on Shanghai Stadium when Bayern Munich take on Arsenal in their International Champions Cup opener. The Bundesliga giants rolled over lower-league side Erlangen-Bruck in their first warm-up game, but Wednesday’s football match against Arsenal will be anything but a walk in the park for Carlo Ancelotti’s troops. Big-money signing James Rodriguez could make his Bayern Munich debut against Arsenal and seeing that the Bavarians demolished the Gunners in the Champions League knockout stages last term, it is no surprise they are regarded as hot favourites to win Wednesday’s clash. Arsene Wenger’s men kicked off their preparations for the new season with a 2-0 win over Sydney, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in the game against the Bundesliga champions. Bayern Munich do not suit Arsenal and we predict that Carlo Ancelotti’s team will emerge triumphant in the Shanghai Stadium showdown.
