Our prediction for this match:
Blackburn Rovers will be looking to record their third consecutive win over Bury when the two teams face each other at Gigg Lane in a pre-season friendly. The Shakers played out a 1-1 draw with Nantwich Town in their first warm-up game, but the Riversiders are likely to pose a much bigger threat for the League Two side than their previous rivals. Seeing that Blackburn Rovers do not suit Bury, beating them in previous two meetings in the League One, home win should not be considered.
The Championship club, on the other hand, impressed in the second half of the 2018/2019 season and they surely want to continue where they left last term. The Riversiders are seen as favourites to win Wednesday’s football match and seeing that the Shakers failed to impress in the 1-1 draw with Nantwich Town, we predict that Tony Mowbray’s men are going to prove their worth on the field.
