Our prediction for this match:
Despite struggling in the qualifiers, Australia eventually booked their place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals. The Socceroos have been grouped with the likes of France, Peru and Denmark, meaning that they have chances of advancing to the knockout stages. The Australians are eager to beat Hungary in their final warm-up game, but Saturday’s football match against Georges Leekens’ troops will be anything but a walk in the park for the visitors. The Hungarians failed to qualify for the showpiece tournament in Russia, but seeing that they take on Australia in front of home fans at Groupama Arena in Budapest, we predict that they are going to grab something from Saturday’s friendly. The two teams meet for the first time ever on the international stage and we believe that they are going to share the spoils in the capital of Hungary this weekend.
