Our prediction for this match:
Wolfsburg and Napoli face each other at TBC stadium in Germany in yet another warm-up game. The Wolves are brimming with confidence following a thrilling 3-0 win over Ajax, but they face an uphill task in Saturday’s football match against Napoli. Wolfsburg have been having their ups and downs in pre-season, but, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from their final warm-up game. The Neapolitans, on the other hand, have yet to recover from a heavy 5-0 loss to Liverpool, but experienced tactician Carlo Ancelotti is definitely capable of helping the team get back on course. Napoli are well known for their attacking style of play and we predict that they will go all guns blazing at Wolfsburg in Saturday’s football match. A high-scoring affair is on the horizon, but we believe that Napoli are closer to winning this friendly than the Bundesliga side.
Highlighted Player (Jakub Blaszczykowski ):
Better known as “Kuba”, Jakub Błaszczykowski is a Polish midfielder, who has spent the majority of his career in German Bundesliga, and he has made over 75 appearances for the Polish national team. The highly rated midfielder represented KS Czestochowa and Wisla Krakow on domestic stage before joining Borussia Dortmund in February 2007, and little did he know that he would spend next decade at BVB.
During his time with the Millionaires, Blaszczykowski established himself as one of Europe’s leading right wingers, winning two Bundesliga titles and reaching the Champions League final with Dortmund. The Poland international eventually lost his place in the side near the end of Jurgen Klopp’s reign at Signal-Iduna Park, and he later joined Fiorentina on loan in an attempt to kick-start his career.
Kuba continues to play an important role for the Poland national team, with his return of 15 goals in first 75 caps pretty good for a midfielder. Blaszczykowski represented his country at the Euro 2012, but couldn’t help his side get past the group stage.
Highlighted Team (Napoli):
SSC Napoli is an Italian football club from the city of Naples which is playing currently in the Serie A. The club was founded officially in 1926 but the history from Napoli reaches back to 1904 with the club Naples Foot-Ball & Cricket Club that fused with Internazionale Napoli and was called FBC Internaples.
After 4 seasons the club changed its name to SSC Napoli (Societa Sportiva Calcio).
In the end of the eighties Napoli had the biggest success in the club history with the Argentinian legend Diego Maradona. Diego Maradona was able to win the league title twice, the national cup and the UEFA cup. The moment Maradona left the club Napoli got into big financial trouble.
In 2004 the local club was bankrupt. Despite the help of financial investors the club got regulated to the Serie C. After 6 years of playing in lower divisions Napoli managed to get back in the Serie A in season 2007/2008. Famous players that played for the club from Naples are: Maradona, Zola, Cavani, Blanc, Di Canio, Cannavaro.
