Our prediction for this KNVB Cup match:
Yanmar Stadion will host Wednesday’s Dutch Cup game between Almere City and VVV-Venlo. Almere City aim to build on back-to-back wins over Jong Utrecht and Telstar, and we are positive that they will stick to their attacking style of play. The Eerste Divisie side have been scoring goals for fun of late, and we are positive that they will find the net in the KNVB Beker clash.
Venlo, on the other hand, sit in the danger zone in the Eredivisie standings, and seeing that they experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Feyenoord, and given Almere City’s fine form, we predict that the Eerste Divisie outfit will book their place in the last 16 of the Dutch Cup. A man to watch in the home team will be Thomas Verheydt, who has netted nine goals so far this season.
