Our prediction for this League 1 match:
AFC Wimbledon and Peterborough United, the two out-of-form sides, face each other at the Cherry Red Records Stadium in what is expected to be a very entertaining game. The Dons failed to impress in their first game of the year, with the team sharing the spoils with fellow relegation strugglers Southend United, while suffering a 2-1 loss to Portsmouth in their last league fixture.
AFC Wimbledon aim to escape the danger zone in the League One standings, and we predict that they are going to take advantage of the fact that the Posh suffered a dip in form. The visitors are low on spirits ahead of the trip to Surrey as they failed to find the net in four of their last five league fixtures. AFC Wimbledon want this win more than Peterborough United, who recorded their last away win in the League One on October 19, 2019 against Gillingham.
Highlighted Player (Kwesi Appiah ):

Born in Thamesmead, England on August 12, 1990, Kwesi Appiah is a professional footballer who plays for AFC Wimbledon in the League One. Due to his dual citizenship, Appiah is eligible to play for Ghana and he made his debut with the Black Stars in a 2-1 win over South Africa on January 27, 2015.
The pacey forward scored his first goal for the national team in a 3-0 win over Guinea on February 1, 2015. Appiah started his club career at Ebbsfleet United, but the list of clubs he played for is pretty long.
Appiah wore Peterborough United, Weymouth, King’s Lynn, Kettering Town, Brackley Town, Thurrock, Margate, Crystal Palace, Aldershot Town, Yeovil Town, Cambridge United, Notts County, Reading and Viking shirts before signing a permanent deal with AFC Wimbledon in 2017. His main position is centre-forward, but he is capable of producing fine performances as both second striker and left winger as well.
Highlighted Team (Peterborough):

Founded in 1934, Peterborough United are a professional club that competes in the League One. The Posh play their home games at London Road Stadium, the venue with the capacity of 15,314. Peterborough’s home colour is blue, whilst the colour of their away kit is blue. The Posh have the third kit as well where yellow and black are the dominant colours.
Peterborough United’s biggest success came in the 1964/1965 when the club booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Chelsea, though, proved to be a big catch for the Posh, beating them 5-1 in London. It has to be noted that Peterborough United made it to the Football League Cup semis in the 1965/1966 season, with the team losing to WBA in the two-legged tie.
The likes of Cambridge United and Northampton Town are considered the club’s main rivals. The Posh have built a rivalry with Huddersfield Town, with fans seeing MK Dons as rivals as well.
