Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Charlton Athletic play host to Doncaster Rovers in their first home game of the season. The Red Robins kicked off the new League One season in style, with the team beating Crewe 2-0 on the road, but it has to be noted that they allowed their opponents too many goal attempts. The capital club aim to overtake Swindon in top position in the standings, and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Saturday’s showdown.
The Donny, on the other hand, dropped two points in a 1-1 draw MK Dons, with the visitors scoring a late equalizer in the Keepmoat Stadium clash. Doncaster, were anything but dominant in the season opener, and given the number of high-profile players in the home team, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed from the trip to London.
