Our prediction for this League 1 match:
After sharing the spoils with Peterborough United in the League One derby, Coventry City will be aiming to start a new winning run when they welcome Accrington Stanley at their St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium on Matchday 17. The Sky Blues are determined to secure promotion to the Championship, but they need to keep on raising their form if they are to turn the dream into reality.
Accrington Stanley, on the other hand, aim to escape the danger zone in the League One table. However, given their poor form, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of spoiling Coventry’s party at St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium. In their last meeting in the English third tier, the Blues defeated John Coleman’s troops 1-0, and we predict that history is going to repeat itself.
Highlighted Player (Liam Kelly):

Born in Newport Pagnell, England Liam Kelly is a right-footed midfielder who plays for Coventry City in the League One. Kelly is a product of Milton Keynes Dons football school, but he did not play for the club at senior level. The English footballer started his senior career at Scottish club Kilmarnock, but after making 100 appearances in the league for the Killie, he moved to England, signing a three-and-a-half-year deal with Bristol City.
The English footballer played for the likes of Oldaham Athletic and Leyton Orient as well before joining Coventry City in the summer of 2017. His main position is central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both defensive and right midfielder as well.
His preferred foot is right. He made his league debut with Coventry City on August 5, 2017 in a 3-0 win over Notts County, while scoring his first goal for the club in a 3-1 win over Stevenage in April, 2018.
Highlighted Team (Accrington):

Founded back in 1891 and reformed in 1968, Accrington Stanley are an English football club that compete in the League One. The original team competed in the Football League from 1921 to 1962, spending the last four seasons in Lancashire Combination.
The Accy are well known for their red home kit, whilst they wear sky blue shirts and white shorts when playing on the travels. The League One side play their home games at Crown Ground, the stadium which can hold up to 5,450 spectators (3,100 seated). Accrington have been playing at Crown Ground since 1970.
Listed as the all-time favourite player amongst fans, Chris Grimshaw is one of the most famous Accrington Stanley footballers. However, George Stewart is the team’s top scorer, netting 136 goals in total from 1954 to 1958. It has to be noted that the Accy have yet to represent England in European competitions.
