Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Gillingham quickly bounced back from a 2-0 loss to Hull City, with the team beating Wigan Athletic 3-2 on the road. The Gills aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, but the game against Blackpool will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be midfielder Jordan Graham, who scored a brace in the triumph over the Latics.
The Seasiders, on the other hand, continue with their habit of producing much better displays at home than on the travels. Blackpool suffered a 1-0 loss at Plymouth in their opener, with the team beating Swindon 2-0 on home soil at the weekend. CJ Hamilton, who scored two goals in the triumph over Richie Wellens’ troops, is likely to pose a big threat for the opposition defenders. Anyhow, share of spoils is on the cards at Priestfield Stadium.

In the 2009/2010 season Blackpool secured promotion to the Premier League, but they were not competitive at this level, suffering relegation to the Championship the following season.
