Our match prediction:
Leicester City made a giant step towards what would be the unlikeliest of title wins as they enjoyed a hard-fought triumph over Watford at Vicarage Road, moving five points clear at the top as their title rivals Spurs and Arsenal shared spoils in the North London derby. The Foxes are aware that a win over struggling Newcastle United would get them closer to their goal, but the match will be anything but a walk in the park. Granted, the Magpies have been utterly disappointing of late and the lack of confidence is seriously affecting them, however they have the quality to make life difficult for Claudio Ranieri’s side. But, with the Foxes coping incredibly well with the pressure of expectations, we predict they will record yet another narrow triumph to further cement the first place in the Premier League standings, while at the same time pushing Newcastle United towards the Championship.
