Our match prediction:
Leicester City did well to avoid a potential banana skin as they defeated Sunderland on the road to go seven points clear at the Premiership summit and they now need three wins from five remaining games to turn the most romantic football tale into reality. The Foxes have done incredibly well to cope with the pressure so far, winning five straight league fixtures without conceding, and while keeping a clean sheet against free-scoring West Ham will be no easy task, Claudio Ranieri’s men will be looking to take advantage of the fact that the Hammers will be tired after two very difficult games in last seven days. West Ham have clearly suffered a dip in form, having failed to win any of their last five fixtures in all competitions, and no doubts the FA Cup exit will serve as a blow to the players’ confidence. Having only kept the results respectable thanks to some excellent individual performances, we predict that the Hammers will not be able to match Leicester’s team effort at King Power Stadium.
