Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
In this clash of the lower part of the table, Amiens will play host to Dijon in what seems to be a relegation clash. Both have struggled to find form recently, with Amiens losing 4 of their last five games and Dijon losing 3, drawing one and winning 1 of their last 5. This game could be looked as a significant game in the relegation battle at the end of the season.
The home team have started decently under Elsner this season, but have dropped off massively. They sit in 17th spot with 16 points; they are equal on points with Dijon but are separated by goal difference. Dijon have been dreadful away from home, though, where they collected just 4 of their 16 points. We see this as a significant factor that could help the home team to a tight win on Saturday.

Highlighted Player (Regis Gurtner):

Born in Saverne, France on Devember 8, 1986, Regis Gurtner began his career at the youth team of FR Haguenau. In 2004 he moved to Strasbourg football academy and four years later he made his first-team debut with La Racing.
The 183-cm-tall goalkeeper played 43 games for Strasbourg and in 2011 he signed a deal with fellow Ligue 2 side Boulogne. After making 93 appearances for the club from 2011 to 2014, Regis Gurtner joined Le Havre at the end of the 2013/2014 season, but he played no more than four games for les Ciel et Marine.
Gurtner signed for Amiens in 2015 and he established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper for the 2016/2017 Ligue 2 season, keeping 12 clean sheets in 38 appearances in the league for les Licornes. At the end of the season Amiens secured promotion to the French elite division, with the team finishing the campaign in second place in the standings, only one point behind Strasbourg.
Highlighted Team (Dijon):

Founded in 1998, Dijon is a result of a merger between two local clubs. The Mustards played their first ever match in the Ligue 1 on August 7, 2011, with the team suffering a heavy 5-1 loss on their debut in the French top flight. After suffering relegation to Ligue 2 at the end of the 2011/2012 season, the club returned to the French elite division in 2016.
The Mustards finished the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign in 16th place in the standings, only one point clear of the relegation zone. Dijon are well known for their red jerseys, while they wear white when playing on the road. The Mustards welcome their rivals at Stade Gaston Gerard, the venue which was both built and opened in 1934. In the 1998/1999 season the club recorded a historical 12-1 Coupe de France win over Mahault Baie and that is considered the club’s biggest ever win in a competitive match.
Stephane Mangione, who made 181 appearances for the club, is regarded as one of the team’s famous players.
