Our football match prediction:
Caen and Rennes, the two teams who sit in the middle of the Ligue 1 table, face each other at Stade Michel d’Ornano on Matchday 26. Caen have been struggling at home ground of late, with the team recording only one win in previous five home games in the national championship. However, the fact that they defeated Nantes 3-2 in their last home match in the French elite division is certainly giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Rennes. Les Rouges et Noirs, on the other hand, did well to spoil Lyon’s party at Groupama Stadium at the weekend, with the team beating les Gones 2-0. Rennes put an end to their three-game losing run in all competitions and, no doubt, they regained a much-needed confidence. The visitors aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, but beating Caen on the road is easier said than done, therefore, we predict the two teams are going to share the spoils in Saturday’s football match.
