Our football match prediction:
Caen continue to struggle in the Ligue 1. Patrice Garande’s men are on a four-game losing run in the French top flight and, as a result, their top flight status is in great danger. Caen are only six points clear of bottom three ahead of the relegation six-pointer against Toulouse and, no doubt, there will be fireworks when the two teams face each other at Stade Michel d’Ornano on Matchday 33. Les Pitchouns, on the other hand, head into the match following back-to-back defeats to the likes of Lyon and Dijon and it is no surprise they are only one point clear of the relegation zone ahead of Matchday 33. Both Caen and Toulouse aim to record a morale-boosting victory and one thing is for sure, both sides are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Saturday’s clash at Stade Michel d’Ornano. Taking everything into account, both teams to score bet should be considered.

Highlighted Player (Stef Peeters):
Stef Peeters is a Belgian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ligue 1 side Caen. After making only five appearances for Racing Genk (2011-2015) he was loaned to Sparta Rotterdam in 2013. At the end of the 2013/2014 season he signed a loan deal with fellow Dutch club MVV Maastricht and in 2015 he signed a permanent contract with the club. In 2016 Stef Peeters joined Sint-Truiden and it has to be noted that he scored five goals in 39 appearances for the Belgian club. The midfielder then (2017) moved to France to sign a four-year deal with Caen and he is going to wear No. 8 on his shirt in the 2017/2018 season. The Belgian player was born on February 9, 1992 in Meeuwen-Gruitrode, but he has yet to earn a cap for the Belgium national football team. Peeters’ main position is central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder as well. The left-footed footballer has a contract with Caen which expires on June 30, 2020.

Highlighted Team (Toulouse):

Toulouse are a professional football club that compete in Ligue 1. Les Pitchouns are well known for their purple jerseys with white stripes and it has to be noted that they used to wear red and yellow jerseys in the past. Toulouse welcome their opponents at Stadium Municipal and the capacity of the team’s home ground is 33.150. Stadium Municipal was used as a venue for the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Om 1982 the club secured promotion to the Ligue 1 for the first time ever and you should bear in mind that the likes of Jacques Santini and Daniel Jeandupeux were part of the team. A win over Napoli in the round 1 of the 1986/1987 UEFA Cup is considered one of the club’s biggest success as football legend Diego Maradona played for the Italian team back then. Aforementioned attacker Daniel Jeandupeux scored the winner for Toulouse in the penalty shoot-out. Bordeaux are regarded as the club’s fiercest rivals and the two teams face each other in Derby de la Garonne.
