Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
After fourteen rounds, Dijon are in 17th place with 13 points, the same as Caen who are one place above them and Amiens who are one place below. Things could be worse though, as their opponents on Wednesday will know. Dijon are welcoming Guingamp, who are bottom of the table with one win and eight points. Neither team has won in the last six matches. The only win for Dijon in their last ten matches was against Caen in the League Cup. In the last two matches, they drew against Bordeaux at home and against Toulouse away. Guingamp, after three straight defeats, managed to hold Nice who were on a four-game winning streak and earn a point. A real problem for both teams is scoring goals, with Dijon managing one a game on average and Guingamp less than one per game. But Guingamp have also conceded the most goals in Ligue 1 so far, 30 in total. If they could score, Dijon might win this.

Highlighted Player (Mehdi Abeid):

Mehdi Abeid is an Algerian professional footballer who played for France youth teams. He represented les Tricolores at the 2009 UEFA European U17 Championship, making appearance in each of the three group games. Abeid played for France U16, U18 and U23 teams as well in the past, but he then decided to represent Algeria on the international stage at senior level.
The 180-cm-tall midfielder, who was born in Montreuil, France on 6 August, 1992 made his Algeria debut in June, 2015, coming as a substitute in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Seychelles. Speaking of his club career, the Algerian international played for the likes of Newcastle United, St. Johnstone and Panathinaikos in the past before joining French team Dijon in 2016.
The Dijon midfielder scored three goals in 24 league appearances for Panathinaikos in the 2015/2016 season. Mehdi Abeid is capable of playing as both defensive midfielder and a central midfielder.
Highlighted Team (Guingamp):

En Avant de Guingamp Cotes-d’Armor are a French football club based in the commune of Guingamp. Guingamp was founded back in 1912 and it has to be noted that a number of top-class footballers played for the club in the past. The likes of Didier Drogba, Florent Malouda, Fabrice Abriel and Vincent Candela all wore Guingamp’s shirt and, no doubt, the club served them as a springboard.
Guingamp returned to the Ligue 1 in 2013 and they have been competing in the French elite division ever since. In 1996 the French team did well to win the Intertoto Cup and book their place in European competitions for the first time ever. However, Italian giants proved to be a big catch for the Ligue 1 club in the first round of the UEFA Cup.
One year later Guingamp made it to the French Cup final, but they were more than unfortunate not to lift the trophy. After playing out a draw with Nice in the regular time, the Stade de Roudourou outfit were eventually beaten by les Aiglones on penalties.
