Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
The venue for this match will be the Stade de la Mosson in Montpellier. Nice are coming to visit the team who are five places above them in the table with only one point more. They have previously met 27 times with Montpellier winning 12 times and Nice managing eight victories. The last time they played each other was in October 2014. That game finished without a winner. Last year Nice finished 8th and Montpellier 10th. While Montpellier have managed to win Ligue 1 in the 2011/12 season, Nice have last time managed to do so in the 1958/59 season. Both teams have started this season with a defeat. Montpellier then started to play better and haven’t lost since. They have two wins and two draws in the last four matches. Nice have lost another match in round 3, but managed one draw and two wins in the last two rounds, against Lyon and Rennes. Should be a close game.
