Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Montpellier square off against Saint-Etienne at their Stade de la Mosson in what is expected to be a very entertaining game. La Paillade quickly bounced back from a shocking 2-1 loss to Dijon, with the team beating Amiens on the road, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in Saturday’s football match against Saint-Etienne. A man to watch in the home team will be Tunisia international Skhiri, who found the net in the 2-1 win over Amiens. Les Verts, on the other hand, aim to extend their unbeaten run to three games in the French top flight and they are likely to adopt a cautious approach in the Stade de la Mosson clash. The two teams seem to be evenly matched at the moment, therefore, we predict that they are going to share the spoils on Matchday 3. It has to be noted that under 2.5 goals were netted in previous two meetings between the two teams.

Highlighted Player (Paul Lasne):

Paul Lasne is a product of Bordeaux football academy, but he did not play for les Girondins at senior level. After ending his loan spell with Chateauroux Lasne signed a loan deal with Ajaccio in 2010 and he proved his worth in the 2010/2011 Ligue 2 campaign.
As a result, he was offered a permanent deal by the club chiefs and it has to be noted that he played for Corsican side from 2011 to 2014. After scoring four goals in 89 appearances in the league for Ajaccio, the 186-cm-tall midfielder joined Montpellier in the summer of 2014, signing a four-year contract with La Paillade.
Paul Lasne scored three goals for Montpellier, while providing two assists for his teammates in the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign. Despite being left-footed, his main position is right midfield, but he is used as both central and defensive midfielder as well. The Montpellier footballer was born in Saint-Cloud, France on January 16, 1989 and his agent is Henri Zambelli.
Highlighted Team (St Etienne):

Saint Etienne are a professional football club that compete in French Ligue 1. Les Verts were founded in 1919 by employees of a grocery store chain based in Saint Etienne. Saint Etienne wear green shirts and white shorts when playing at home ground and they play their home matches at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.
The stadium was opener on 13 September, 1931 and following the renovation the capacity of the venue increased to 42 000. In 1981 les Verts won their tenth Ligue 1 trophy, but they have been in the shadow of Ligue 1 giants Lyon and PSG in the 21st century.
Speaking of the club’s European success, Saint Etienne made it to the European Cup (Champions League) final in 1976, but Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich proved to be a big catch for the French outfit. Anyhow, that is regarded as the club’s biggest success. It has to be noted that the likes of Michel Platini, Jacques Santini, Laurent Blanc and Aime Jacquet all played for Saint Etienne in the past.
