Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to extend their winning run in Ligue 1 to five games when they take on Nimes at Stade des Costieres. Les Parisiens made a slow start to the season, but, as expected, they quickly returned to winning ways in the French top flight. Thomas Tuchel’s troops impressed in a 6-1 win over Angers before the international break, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at Nimes on Matchday 7.
A man to watch in the away team will be Neymar, who scored a brace against Angers. Both Layvin Kurzawa and Angel Di Maria are sidelined through suspension for the visitors. Nimes, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Montpellier. Les Crocodiles are undefeated in the previous four league fixtures, but PSG will pose a much bigger threat for the hosts than their previous rivals.

Highlighted Player (Lucas Deaux):

Born in Reims, France on December 26, 1998 Lucas Deaux started his career at Reims. The right-footed midfielder scored seven goals in 117 appearances in the league for the Stade Auguste Delaune outfit and he moved to Nantes in the 2012 summer transfer window. Deaux quickly established himself as a first-team regular at the club and you should bear in mind that he played no less than 119 league matches for les Canaris from 2012 to 2015.
In 2016 he moved to Belgium, signing a deal with Gent, but he made only five appearances for de Buffalo’s in the Belgian top flight. Lucas Deaux soon returned to France as he signed a three-year-deal with Guingamp on July 1, 2016. His main position is defensive midfield, but he is capable of playing as a centre-back as well if needed.
His preferred foot is right and the 188-cm-tall footballer is very good in the air. Lucas Deaux scored two goals, while providing five assists for his teammates in 38 appearances for Guingamp in the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign.
Highlighted Team (PSG):

Formed by the merger of Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain in 1970, Paris Saint-Germain or as they call it PSG is the most successful club in French football with 31 domestic titles to their name. Having won six Ligue 1 title so far, a record ten Coupes de France, a record six Coupes de la Ligue, six Trophees des Champions and one Ligue 2 title, PSG are also one of only two French clubs to ever win a European title.
Les Parisiens were crowned UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup champions back in 1995-96, while their last European trophy was the 2001 UEFA Intertoto Cup. Beginning of the new millennium was particularly hard for the celebrated club who flirted with relegation in 2000s before they were bought by the Quatar Sports Investments group in 2011 when the rebirth of the Paris Saint-Germain as we know it today began.
Following heavy squad investments and team boosting, PSG won their first Ligue 1 title in 19 years with Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic almost singlehandedly leading his side towards the trophy with 30 goals. Having established domestic dominance, PSG now set their sights on winning the Champions League which remains an elusive dream for the club from Paris.
