Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Paris Saint-Germain will be aiming to build on a 4-0 win over Monaco in the French Super Cup when they welcome Caen at their Parc des Princes on the opening match of the season. New coach Thomas Tuchel has already won one trophy with the star-studded French side, but he doesn’t want to stop now. The German tactician did not count on several first-team regulars for the French Super Cup clash, but we predict that he is going to field the best possible side against Caen. Kylian Mbappe, who impressed at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals, is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders. Caen face an uphill task in the season opener and seeing that les Parisiens have turned their Parc des Princes into a real fortress, we predict the visitors are going to return home empty-handed from the trip to Paris.

Caen are a French football club that compete in Ligue 1. Caen were founded in 1913 under the name of The Stade Malherbe Caennais and back then Stade de Venoix was the club’s home ground. Nowadays SMC play their home games at Stade Michel d’Ornano and the capacity of the venue is 20.453.
