Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Saint-Etienne will be looking to extend their winning run in Ligue 1 to four games when they host Olympique Lyon at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in the local derby on Matchday 21. There will be fireworks when the two teams face each other in Derby du Rhone on Sunday and it remains to be seen if les Verts are going to extend their winning run in the French top flight to four games. Les Gones, on the other hand, shared the spoils with the likes of Montpellier, Reims and Toulouse in previous three league fixtures and, as a result, they dropped to fourth place in the standings. Both sides are eager to book their place in the Champions League and we predict that they are going to adopt an attack-minded approach in Sunday’s football game. Taking everything into account, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score in the Derby du Rhone.

Highlighted Player (Cheikh MBengue):

Born in Toulouse on 23 July, 1988, Cheikh M’Bengue started his youth career at FA Roques. In 1996 Toulouse scouts spotted him and he soon joined the French team. The 182-cm-tall left back made his Toulouse debut on 15 September, 2007 against Marseille, coming from the bench in the second half of the match. A week later he made his first start for les Pitchouns in a 2-0 loss to Saint Etienne.
In 2013 he moved to Rennes and after spending three years at the club he joined Saint Etienne on 20 July, 2016 on a free transfer. His contract with les Verts expires on 30 June, 2019. Cheikh M’Bengue was born in Toulouse and as a result, he played for France U21 team in the past.
However, seeing that his parents are of Senegalese descent, he decided to represent the Lions of Teranga at senior level. The St. Etienne defender made his Senegal debut in June 2011.
Highlighted Team (Olympique Lyon):

Commonly referred to as Lyon, Olympique Lyonnais is the French club which play their games at the Parc Olimpique Lyonnais with a capacity just a pinch short of 60,000. Lyon is one of the most popular clubs in France with a vast fan base on par with Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille.
The club achieved moderate success during the 1960s and 1970s led by the likes of Bernard Lacombe and Jean Djorkaeff, while the golden era of the French side came at the start of the new millennium when Lyon began to achieve greater success both in France and on the international level.
It was not until 2002 that Lyon won their first ever Ligue 1 title which sparked an ongoing national record-breaking streak of seven successive titles. During that time Lyon were regular participants of the UEFA Champions League. The French club reached quarter-finals on two occasions, while they even played in the semi-finals in the 2009-10 season.
