Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Sunday’s football game at Roazhon Park pits together Rennes and Strasbourg, the two teams who are almost level on points in the Ligue 1 standings. Les Rouges et Noirs are undefeated in previous three league fixtures and they head into the game following a 2-2 draw with Montpellier. Rennes are one of those unpredictable teams, but we believe that they are going to return to winning ways this weekend as Strasbourg are not regarded as good travelers. Le Racing failed to win previous four league matches, meaning that the lack of confidence could prove to be a big problem for the visitors in the Roazhon Park clash. In their last meeting in Rennes the hosts emerged triumphant and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself. A man to watch in the home team will be former Premier League ace Hatem Ben Arfa.

Highlighted Player (Ludovic Baal):

Ludovic Baal is a left-footed football player who was born on May 24, 1988. Baal was born in Paris, but he is a product of the Le Mans youth academy and it has to be noted that he made 12 appearances for the club in his first season with the MMArena outfit.
His main position is left-back, but he is capable of playing as a left midfielder as well. Considering that he is a French-born player, Ludovic Baal was illegible to play for both France and the French Guayana national team.
Baal decided to represent French Guayana on international stage and he made three appearances for the team in the group stages of the 2012 Caribbean Cup. He found the net in a 4-1 win over Anguilla, with Gary Pigree scoring a hat-trick for French Guayana. Ludovic Baal currently play for Rennes as a left-back and his contract with the Ligue 1 outfit expires on June 30, 2019.
Highlighted Team (Strasbourg):

Founded back in 1906, Strasbourg is a professional football team that compete in French Ligue 1. Le Racing did remarkably well to win the 1979 Ligue 1 trophy and that is considered the biggest success in the history of the club. Strasbourg won Coupe de France on three occasions (1951, 1966, 2001) and they have three Coupe de la Ligue trophies as well (1964, 1997, 2005). Strasbourg’s main rivals are Metz and the two teams face each other in the Derby de l’Est (The Eastern derby).
Le Racing recorded their biggest victory over Valenciennes (10-0) in the 1937-1938 season, whilst they suffered their biggest loss to Limoges (0-8) in the 1959/1960 season. Paraguayan goalkeeper Jose Luis Chilavert, who is well known for his free-kick abilities, played for the club from 2000 to 2003, but he failed to score in a league match during his spell with the Stade de la Meinau outfit. Speaking of Stade de la Meinau, Strasbourg’s home ground was opened back in 1914 and the capacity of the venue is 29,320.
