Our football match prediction:
Thanks to a 3-0 win over Ajaccio at Stade Francois Coty, Toulouse moved one step closer to securing the Ligue 1 survival. Les Pitchouns proved their worth in the first leg and they are now on a quest to defend their big lead in front of home fans. Toulouse footballers are brimming with confidence ahead of Wednesday’s football game and we predict that they are going to give fans yet another reason for celebration. Toulouse are more of a team than Ajaccio and seeing that the Corsicans are not regarded as good travelers, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the hosts. Yaya Sanogo, who found the net in the first leg, will be the man to watch in the home team and we predict that he is going to prove a handful for the opposition defenders in the Stadium Municipal clash.
Highlighted Player (Christopher Jullien):
Christopher Jullien is a professional footballer who plays for Toulouse as a defender. The 195-cm-tall centre-back played for Auxere youth team from 2005 to 2011 and he made his first-team debut for the club on August 24, 2012 in a 2-1 win over Stade Lavallois. Christopher Jullien scored his first ever goal a week later in a Coupe de la Ligue clash against Dijon. The French defender made 25 appearances in the league for Auxerre and in 2013 he moved to Germany, signing a professional contract with Freiburg. Jullien made only one appearance for the first team, but it has to be noted that he scored five goals in 49 games for the second team. After ending his loan spell with Dijon in the summer of 2016, he signed a four-year deal with Ligue 1 side Toulouse. Christopher Jullien scored four goals, while providing one assist for his teammates in the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign. The French footballer was born on March 22, 1993 in Lagny-sur-Marne and his preferred foot is right.
Highlighted Team (Toulouse):
Toulouse are a professional football club that compete in Ligue 1. Les Pitchouns are well known for their purple jerseys with white stripes and it has to be noted that they used to wear red and yellow jerseys in the past. Toulouse welcome their opponents at Stadium Municipal and the capacity of the team’s home ground is 33.150. Stadium Municipal was used as a venue for the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Om 1982 the club secured promotion to the Ligue 1 for the first time ever and you should bear in mind that the likes of Jacques Santini and Daniel Jeandupeux were part of the team. A win over Napoli in the round 1 of the 1986/1987 UEFA Cup is considered one of the club’s biggest success as football legend Diego Maradona played for the Italian team back then. Aforementioned attacker Daniel Jeandupeux scored the winner for Toulouse in the penalty shoot-out. Bordeaux are regarded as the club’s fiercest rivals and the two teams face each other in Derby de la Garonne.
