Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
There will be fireworks when in-form Toulouse take on last season’s runners-up Monaco at Stadium Municipal on day 5 of the new Ligue 1 campaign. Toulouse are eyeing their fourth consecutive win in the French top flight, whereas Monaco aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to the likes of Bordeaux and Marseille. Toulouse were struggling in the 2017/2018 season, but they seem to be on top of their game at the start of the new campaign and, no doubt, they are capable of matching the star-studded visitors. Les Rouges et Blancs have been struggling at the back of late and we do not believe that they are capable of keeping a clean sheet in Saturday’s football match. A close encounter is on the cards and we predict that the two sides are going to play out a high-scoring draw at Stadium Municipal.

Highlighted Player (Firmin Mubele):

Firmin Ndombe Mubele is a DR Congo international, who plays for Toulouse in Ligue 1. The 178-cm tall winger was born in Kinshasa (Zaire) on April 17, 1994, starting his senior career at his hometown club Vita Club. Mubele scored 17 goals for Vita Club in the league before joining Al Ahli in 2015 and in 2017 he moved to France, signing a contract with Rennes.
After spending only one season at Roazhon Park, the Congolese footballer joined Toulouse on loan. Mubele eventually signed a permanent deal with les Pitchouns, who secured the Ligue 1 survival thanks to a win over Ajaccio in the play-off. Firmin Mubele scored his first goal for Toulouse on March 11, 2018 in a 2-1 loss to Olympique Marseille. Speaking of his international career, the Toulouse attacker has established himself as one of best DR Congo footballers.
Mubele scored four goals in eight appearances for DR Congo in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, but that did not help his national team book their place at the showpiece tournament in Russia.
Highlighted Team (Monaco):

Though based in Monaco, Les Rouges et Blances – as they are commonly referred to – play their games in the French football league system. Members of the top tier Ligue 1, Monaco play their home matches at the Stade Louis II in Fontvieille in front of 18,500 people. The Principality club boasts a turbulent history, which saw Monaco reach the highest heights of both domestic and international scene, but also get relegated to the amateur leagues at the very beginnings and to Ligue 2 in 2010-11 season.
The following year AS Monaco were acquired by the Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, whose heavy investments turned the Principality club into one of the biggest spenders in Europe in 2013 and reestablishing its place among Europe’s top clubs.
AS Monaco have had notable European results in the modern football era having been runners-up in the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1992 and the UEFA Champions League in 2004. One of the most successful clubs in France AS Monaco have so far won seven league titles and five Coupe de France trophies.
