Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Before their draw with Monaco in mid-September, Toulouse have won seven straight games at home. Since that game, however, they have lost one and drawn one. They are currently sitting in place number nine in the table. Their form in the last six matches is bad. They have failed to win a game and have lost two and drawn four. In their last match they suffered a hard defeat, losing 4:0 to fellow strugglers Nantes. Montpellier are at the other side of the table, up in third place, level on points with Marseille in fourth and three points away from second place. They haven’t lost a match in their last six outings. In fact, they have only lost one of their last ten matches away from home. They haven’t been very prolific; they have the worst scoring record out of the top five teams in the league but they also have the second best defence. Toulouse will be like if they could get a point out of this game.

Highlighted Player (Firmin Mubele):

Firmin Ndombe Mubele is a DR Congo international, who plays for Toulouse in Ligue 1. The 178-cm tall winger was born in Kinshasa (Zaire) on April 17, 1994, starting his senior career at his hometown club Vita Club. Mubele scored 17 goals for Vita Club in the league before joining Al Ahli in 2015 and in 2017 he moved to France, signing a contract with Rennes.
After spending only one season at Roazhon Park, the Congolese footballer joined Toulouse on loan. Mubele eventually signed a permanent deal with les Pitchouns, who secured the Ligue 1 survival thanks to a win over Ajaccio in the play-off. Firmin Mubele scored his first goal for Toulouse on March 11, 2018 in a 2-1 loss to Olympique Marseille. Speaking of his international career, the Toulouse attacker has established himself as one of best DR Congo footballers.
Mubele scored four goals in eight appearances for DR Congo in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, but that did not help his national team book their place at the showpiece tournament in Russia.
Highlighted Team (Montpellier):

Over the years Montpellier have established themselves as a mid-table side in French Ligue 1. Montpellier are considered one of the youngest clubs in France as they were founded in 1974, but it has to be noted that a number of high-profile footballers played for the club in the past. French football legend Laurent Blanc played for Montpellier from 1981-1993 and he scored 76 goals in 24 appearances in the league for the club. Eric Cantona, Roger Milla, Carlos Valderama and Olivier Giroud played in Montpellier’s colors as well, but Pascal Baills is the player with most appearances for the club (429).
La Paillade did remarkably well to win the Ligue 1 trophy in 2012 and that is considered the club’s biggest success. Montpellier won Coupe de France on two occasions (1929, 1990), with the team beating FC Sete and FC Paris respectively in the title games. The team welcome their rivals at Stade de la Mosson and the capacity of the stadium is 32.900. In 1999 Montpellier won the UEFA Intertoto Cup.
