Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
After sharing the spoils with Brest at the weekend, Toulouse will be looking to record their first win of the season when they host Dijon at their Stadium de Toulouse on Matchday 2. Les Pitchouns will not have a better chance than this to start a winning run in the 2019/2020 season as the Mustards are seen as one of the main candidates to suffer relegation to the French second tier.
Alain Casanova’s troops are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Saturday’s football match and we predict that they are going to prove their worth on the field. Summer signing Wesley Said could make his Toulouse debut against his former club. Dijon, on the other hand, suffered a 2-1 loss to Saint-Etienne in the opening match of the season and given their poor away record in the French top flight, home win should be considered.

Highlighted Player (Baptiste Reynet):

Baptiste Reynet is a goalkeeper who was born in Romans, France on October 28, 1990. After playing for the likes of Moursoise and Valence at youth level, he joined Martigue football academy in 2007. The 185-cm-tall shoot-stopper made 53 appearances for the Martigues first team and in 2011 he moved to Dijon.
Baptiste Reynet was producing fine performances with the Mustards in the 2012/2013 Ligue 2 campaign and, as a result, Lorient chiefs decided to bring him to Stade du Moustoir. Reynet, though, played only six games for les Merlus in the French top flight as he was loaned back to Dijon after only one year at Lorient.
The French goalkeeper impressed in the 2015/2016 Ligue 2 campaign and it has to be noted that he made 17 clean sheets in the process. Baptiste Reynet, who has established himself as a first-choice shoot-stopper at Dijon has a contract with the club which expired on June 30, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Dijon):

Founded in 1998, Dijon is a result of a merger between two local clubs. The Mustards played their first ever match in the Ligue 1 on August 7, 2011, with the team suffering a heavy 5-1 loss on their debut in the French top flight. After suffering relegation to Ligue 2 at the end of the 2011/2012 season, the club returned to the French elite division in 2016.
The Mustards finished the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign in 16th place in the standings, only one point clear of the relegation zone. Dijon are well known for their red jerseys, while they wear white when playing on the road. The Mustards welcome their rivals at Stade Gaston Gerard, the venue which was both built and opened in 1934. In the 1998/1999 season the club recorded a historical 12-1 Coupe de France win over Mahault Baie and that is considered the club’s biggest ever win in a competitive match.
Stephane Mangione, who made 181 appearances for the club, is regarded as one of the team’s famous players.
