Our football match prediction:
Bouyed by a 3-2 win over Rennes, Toulouse take on Troyes at Stade de l’Aube on Matchday 5. Les Pitchouns have been scoring goals for fun at the start of the season and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play in Saturday’s football match against Troyes. Swedish midfielder Jimmy Durmaz has netted three goals in the French top flight this term, meaning that the opposition defenders should have him at bay. The newcomers, on the other hand, are eyeing their first home win of the season, but given Toulouse’s recent form, we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the hosts. Les Pitchouns create goal-scoring opportunities without any difficulties and we predict that they are going to emerge triumphant in Saturday’s Ligue clash. You should know that it has been 11 years since Jean Louis Garcia’s team recorded their last win over Toulouse.
Highligted Player (Jeremy Cordoval):
Jeremy Cordoval began his senior career at Troyes and he made nine appearances in the league for the club from 2008 to 2010. Cordoval then joined Beauvais and after playing 37 games for the Stade Pierre Brisson outfit, he moved to Cannes at the end of the 2010/2011 season. The 167-cm-tall right back obviously likes changing clubs as he left Cannes at the end of the 2011/2012 campaign, signing a contract with Creteil. After making 35 appearances in the league for les Beliers Jeremy Cordoval joined Nimes in the summer of 2013. The right-footed defender played for Les Crocodiles from 2013 to 2016 and then he made probably the best decision of his career as he signed a deal with Troyes. The Stade de l’ Aube club impressed in the 2016/2017 Ligue 2 campaign and, as a result, Jeremy Cordoval will have a chance to taste a top-flight football. The French footballer was born in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges on January 12, 1990 and his contract with Troyes expires on June 30, 2019.
Highlighted Team (Toulouse):
Toulouse are a professional football club that compete in Ligue 1. Les Pitchouns are well known for their purple jerseys with white stripes and it has to be noted that they used to wear red and yellow jerseys in the past. Toulouse welcome their opponents at Stadium Municipal and the capacity of the team’s home ground is 33.150. Stadium Municipal was used as a venue for the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Om 1982 the club secured promotion to the Ligue 1 for the first time ever and you should bear in mind that the likes of Jacques Santini and Daniel Jeandupeux were part of the team. A win over Napoli in the round 1 of the 1986/1987 UEFA Cup is considered one of the club’s biggest success as football legend Diego Maradona played for the Italian team back then. Aforementioned attacker Daniel Jeandupeux scored the winner for Toulouse in the penalty shoot-out. Bordeaux are regarded as the club’s fiercest rivals and the two teams face each other in Derby de la Garonne.
