Our match prediction:
With a three-match losing run effectively ending their title hopes, Manchester City now need to ensure they at least secure a top 4 berth, and it is not as if they can afford to relax seeing that red-hot West Ham trail mere two points. The Citizens did well to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals, but lost Vicente Kompany and Nicolas Otamendi in the process, although the latter has a chance of making the local derby. Manchester United, on the other hand, have been pretty disappointing apart from occasional glimpses of quality, and the reality is their squad is not good enough to secure Champions League qualification. The lack of experience is proving a major issue in high pressure games and with Louis van Gaal forced to make numerous changes due to serious injury crisis, it is hardly surprising they cannot show any sort of consistency. We should, nonetheless, see a great game of football at Etihad Stadium, but home win does not seem so difficult to predict.
