Our football match prediction:
Toyota Park will host Saturday’s football match between Chicago Fire and Real Salt Lake. The Men in Red played out a 1-1 draw with Columbus Crew in the opening match of the season, with David Accam scoring the equalizing goal 20 minutes before the final whistle. Chicago now aim to record their first win of the season and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach against Real Salt Lake. Veljko Paunovic’s men were tough to beat at home last season and they are definitely capable of defeating the Royals at their Toyota Park. Real Salt Lake played out a goalless draw with Toronto at the weekend, but it has to be noted that they failed to turn their dominance into goals. Anyhow, the Royals face a difficult task in Saturday’s clash against Chicago Fire and we predict that they will return home empty-handed.

Real Salt Lake joined Major League Soccer in 2005 as an expansion team of the league and four years later they won their first MLS Cup. The Royals faced star-studded Los Angeles Galaxy in the title game at Qwest Field in Seattle and Jason Kreis’ troops defeated David Beckham and Co. on penalties. In 2013 Real Salt Lake made it to the MLS Cup final for the second time in the club’s history, but they were beaten by Sporting Kansas City on penalties this time out. The Royals participated in the CONCACAF Champions League final in 2011 as well, but Monterrey of Mexico eventually won the title. Real Salt Lake footballers wear red shirts and blue shorts when playing at home, while the colour of their away kit is white.
